The Comedy treatment

a comedian, a bank and cancer walk into a bar…

For ANZ’s 33rd year of sponsoring The Cancer Society, we decided the best way to drive donations was to get people talking about cancer. And the best way to get people talking about something? With humour. We partnered with comedian living with cancer, Dai Henwood, to put on a live-to-air comedy special that was all about the big c. Then we used the show promos to talk to the work the cancer society did. If you didn't think he was brave enough, he even let us write some of the jokes. The show was kept on TVNZ on Demand for a 10 weeks post the Live show.
